OPTN Modernization Update: OPTN Board of Directors webinar to take place Aug. 2 at 3 pm ET

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Board of Directors are excited to announce historical steps in strengthening OPTN governance. The OPTN Board of Directors has been separated from the OPTN contractor so it may better serve the interests of patients and their families. The OPTN Board of Directors’ new governance structure is a key step in HRSA’s commitment to strengthen OPTN governance and remove conflicts of interest within the Network.
Together, HRSA and the OPTN Board of Directors hosted a webinar on Friday, August 2 at 3 pm EDT to give an update on the re-structured OPTN Board of Directors.
