Change to living donation policy on candidate registration approved by the Executive Committee

The OPTN/UNOS Executive Committee recently approved a change to living donation policy that will take effect on September 1, 2014. As of that date, all transplant hospitals must register their living donor organ candidates before they are transplanted.
