Board election to begin Feb. 9

OPTN/UNOS member voting representatives soon will be receiving information to cast ballots electronically for election of OPTN/UNOS Board officers and directors whose terms begin in July 2016.

Voting representatives can view the Board ballot and register their votes online via a secure, third-party web application. This provides convenience for representatives to cast their vote and allows efficient tabulation of election results.

UNOS will contact voting representatives by e-mail with a link to the ballot and supporting information about the nominees. The voting application will open at noon Eastern time February 9 and will close at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time March 8. Election results will be announced soon after the completion of voting.
